Australian Organic Farmers, Carpendale - It’s all organic!

Born from a passion to share organic produce with others, Australian Organic Farmers is an organic farm and shop at Carpendale in the Lockyer Valley. Owner of Australian Organic Farmers and Lockyer Valley Organics, grower Anthony Bauer is a 5th generation farmer. His family first established farming land in the Lockyer Valley in 1885. Australian Organic Farmers is a network of organic growers who pack, share and sell their seasonal produce for the farm gate shop (open Tuesday to Friday). As well as potatoes, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, carrots, swedes, broccoli, and fruit including apples and oranges, the shop also sells raw local honey. Produce not suitable for the shelves is turned into soups, pasta sauces, juices and purees. The shop is easy to find just off Gatton-Helidon Road, just 10 minutes from Gatton and 20 minutes from Toowoomba. It’s great to combine a shop here with a coffee stop at Tins and Trays in Gatton.
