Bent Road Wine, Ballandean

The wine-tasting experience at Bent Road is a personalised experience that centres around a Wine Masterclass which moves from the cellar door into the vineyard and beyond. The winery is open by appointment only from Friday to Sunday. The one-and-a-half-hour masterclass wine-tasting experience ($20 pp) shares the stories behind the why, where and how Bent Roads’ wines are created from the vineyard to machinery room, to the qvevris (terracotta urns planted in the earth to ferment the wines in the ancient Georgian way) to the tasting room. The Masterclass changes with the season, so you can expect a different experience in summer and winter. Masterclasses are held at 2 pm on Friday, 10.30 am and 2 pm on Saturday and 10.30 am on Sunday. The winery is located in Ballandean.
