With a hamper from The Little Larder, Quart Pot Creek is a great picnic getaway. Grab one of their charcuterie or grazing boards filled with delicious, cured meats, cheeses, accompaniments, fresh fruit, nuts and chocolate. The Red Bridge (officially known as Quart Pot Creek Rail Bridge) is an easy two-kilometre walk from Stanthorpe’s visitor information centre. Constructed in 1886, it has been on the Queensland Heritage Register since 1992 and is a perfect picnic destination. The Little Larder has an outdoor seating area on a deck that is undercover, so if your picnic is rained out, you can still enjoy the hamper. Stanthorpe is about a three-hour drive from Brisbane’s CBD, either coming via Cunninghams Gap or Toowoomba.
