Drop into Ann and Michael Bourke’s Jester Hill Wines any day of the week for a wine tasting (pre-booked), or make it a weekend stop with a cheese platter (pre-booked) from Jester Café. Part of Strange Bird Trail, they make a wide range of wine styles. The grounds are perfect for picnicking, and you can bring your own picnic if purchasing wine. In addition, Jester Hill Wines holds Granite Rockin’ Blues each April, an annual fundraiser for the local fire brigade. You’ll find the winery on the southern side of Stanthorpe in Glen Alpin.
Guru Tip
This is a great place to stop with children or a dog in tow, as the outdoor spaces are filled with activities. There is a bocce court and winery animals to pat.
Insta Moment
Take a snap with the friendly winery animals.
