Nuova Scuola focuses on alternative vines, such as traditional Mediterranean varieties, and uses modern winemaking techniques to create something new and different. You won’t find any shiraz or merlot here. Owners Sarah Boyce and Stefano Radici met while working in New Zealand’s Marlborough region and have travelled the world working in vineyards from Mexico to France, California's Nappa Valley, Italy and Canada. Family drew them back to the South Burnett, where they bought a vineyard and began crafting unique wines. Start your visit by tasting the wines and chatting with the winemaker. For an unforgettable experience, take a tour, sipping wine as you stroll through the vineyard. Top it off with a Mediterranean-inspired charcuterie board. And the name? Nuova Scuola means ‘new school’ in Italian.
Guru Tip
Sleep right here, just a stone's throw from the cellar door, and discover a delightful one-bedroom cabin offering breathtaking vineyard and valley vistas.
